Voices from the Audience

18 December 2017 | Hello Sir, I am a pricing analyst by profession from Boston, originally from Kerala. I am aware you receive umpteen emails everyday but I still wanted to take a moment to thank you for your evergreen and inquisitive mind. I watch your show Guftgoo because I am drawn to your interviewing style and the way you seek to connect with creative minds. I truly admire how you approach the unravelling, whether it is childhood experiences or through exploring the adult formative years. I have not been a 'fan' or so to speak of any particular artist in my life but for you I would like to say, I am soaked in admiration. Thank you for all that you do, thank you for your sharp and empathetic mind. Thank you for your contribution to the world of art, it helps sponge like minds absorb elements to help their individual lives. Lot of adulation, Caroline.
8 August 2018 | Hello again Irfan ji, I have been following your recent interviews again while also revisiting older ones, I am very glad the roadblocks you mentioned earlier have been overcome and that you have emerged victorious through it. I again want to mention that I am in total awe of you, your style of interviewing, your sharp mind, your insightful thoughts, you creating a climate of inquiry, healthy skepticism combined with a genuine zeal for the circumstances being discussed. Watching you interview people is like watching a magician at work- I never fail to be amazed by what you elicit. Upon contemplating more, I have realized that it is not sheer happenstance that you conduct these interviews so successfully. Your tenacity, hard work behind the scenes and commitment shines through them all. I would like to take a moment to recognize your dedication to deep and unraveling interrogations thereby contributing to the extensive world of thought evolution all the while remaining relevant and sensitive. You help bring interviewees to life and shed light on the myriad hues of their personality and developmental phases, who otherwise remain reduced to single dimensions in other shows. I have not seen any other like you, you are unique and so is your profound intellect! I appreciate all that you do, your work continues to inspire and positively influence my life like no other. Your show has become a tonic I cannot do without and I am obviously a great fan of yours. A couple personalities I wanted to mention as requests are Neena Gupta and Deepti Naval in that order :). Warm regards, Carolene
